Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas, also called Ashanti was born on October 13, 1980 on the 13th of October, 1980 in Glen Cove New York United States. She is a singer and actress who hails from the United States. The talent of Ashanti was discovered when she was a teenager. She signed with Murder Inc. Records, in 2002. The same year she also made an appearance in Fat Joe's What's Luv? the song "What's Love?" by Fat Joe and Ja Rule, entitled Always on Time were both huge hits. The Declaration is her fourth studio album was released in June of 2008. Hey Baby After the Club was released on 16 October for radio and digital outlets. She played Latasha In Army Wives and starred in the movie Christmas in the City. The song she sang Rock wit U was sampled by British rapper Aitch for his song Baby on March 10 2022.
